Is BrowSync secure?

I would like to use BrowSync to debug a website that contains confidential information. I noticed the URL stays at "browsync.net/client" on my mobile. Does that mean all the data is funnelled through browsync.net?

    Hey Mark

In order to keep in sync your devices with Chrome Extension we need to transfer ONLY url.

Page content is transfer directly from your server to your device.

As long as you do not store any confidential information (password) in url you are safe to us e browsync. And as a good developer you should never put anything confidential into url.

browsync.net/client use iFrame to load your page. However due to cross origin restriction of the browser it is even not technically possible to access content of iFrame.

    Feel free to ask more!

    Robert
